It’s been hard to write in this space lately. If I’m honest, it’s been hard to write in general. I worked on a piece this week for my coaching site about moving through resistance in the creative process, something I’d been putting off doing for weeks. palm tree in caye caulkerOn Wednesday I turned 40. My sister and a bunch of girlfriends came down to Belize from New York to celebrate with me for a week, and they rented a house in Caye Caulker. We played in the pool, swam in the sea, ate, drank, danced, sang songs and had an awesome time. It was fun and relaxing and silly, and just what I needed. A Late Start

Ro’s long-time friend Angela came to visit on Saturday, and we carried on into the week. I’m just now kind of pulling it together. It was totally worth it, though. This was my first time meeting Angela and she’s the homie. We hung out and had brunch at one of my favorite spots, and had dinner on Monday night at a restaurant in Kontiki that I had never been to.
